I’m Sam — a multidisciplinary artist based in Co Cavan. I make small-batch ceramic mugs inspired by nature, quiet joy, and a style I call Handcrafted Modern Play.

Every piece is wheel-thrown, glazed, and hand-painted by me — designed to feel calm, grounded, and a little playful.

I work in stoneware -not to chase perfection, but to make objects with presence. The kind of mug you instinctively reach for. The one that feels just right.

My style, if it can be called that, blends the grounded and the playful. A pared-back surface. A soft band of colour. A fox, a pigeon, or a dog - drawn in bold black lines, just enough to carry a little warmth.

These are pieces to live with. To use daily. To enjoy quietly.
